Stretching nearly a quarter mile into the Atlantic Ocean, a new destination has emerged for visitors in search of high end boutiques, entertainment and fine cuisine.  The Pier at Caesar’s, developed by The Gordon Group who created the Forum Shops at Caesar’s in Las Vegas, opened in 2005 and has transformed Atlantic City’s historic boardwalk into an international landmark of commerce and entertainment.

Drawing inspiration from the neighboring vistas of the ocean and the sky, Focus Lighting combined imagery with leading edge technology to create an indoor environment that is as dramatic as it is naturalistic.  The second floor promenade features a sparkling starfield canopy mirrored by a dark, reflective floor, and deep blue coves illuminating the surrounds. The promenade leads directly to the Sun Court, whose intense warmth and color provides visual contrast to the darker, cooler retail spaces within.  The third floor consists of stretched fabric panels shaped into waves with rippling water projections upon them.  Suspended above a wooden boardwalk, the panels provide a stylized seaside setting for visitors to stroll through.  At the end of the pier, the experience culminates with a fountain feature within a towering atrium set to dance every hour to shows coordinated with music and lights, providing a thoroughly satisfying finale to any visitor’s time spent at the Pier at Caesar’s.
